If, for whatever reason, you are unsatisfied with our service or simply need to cancel your child’s attendance in one of our educational service programs, you have a right to cancel your service without any additional fees or any cancellation charges.  The Rio Grande Educational Collaborative (RGEC), however, does not grant any refund for services completed or for prepaid services yet to be delivered.  Additionally, all registrations fees associated with our educational service programs are forfeited if service is canceled.  As a courtesy to our site coordinators, administrators and organization, we ask that all cancellations be provided by written notice of your intent not to attend. That notice can be made by e-mail (info@rgec.org), fax (505)873-0145, or by U.S. mail (524 Montano PO Box 6344 NW Albuquerque, NM 87197 Attn: Educational Service Cancellations).

What Kids Say:

"I love going to RGEC because it's fun and art is my favorite thing to do." -Ethan J, 2nd grade, Sierra Vista E.S.

"My RGEC teacher helps me with homework and then we can have fun and we do funny projects sometimes. I think I learn a lot when I'm here and it makes me like school, a whole lot more." -Thomas, 3rd Grade.

"One thing I like about RGEC is that we get to play and also finish our homework. I didn't get to do arts and crafts at my after-school program last year, but here at RGEC we make lots of cool things to take home." -Alicia, 5th Grade

What parents say:

I wanted to let you know that my son is loving the program.  I love it too.  I think the schedule and diverse activities are awesome.  I pick up a very happy boy every night and often in the morning he pesters me to get to go to RGEC.  Thank you for everything that you are doing to make his experience so positive.

Thank you, D.Hanes

“In the past, our kids claimed after school programs were boring and there was nothing to do.  I work full time and had to leave them in a program.  I was excited when the flyer came home explaining your program.  I have to admit I was a little concerned they would put up a fight to go daily but after the first day they were hooked and so was I.  They had their favorites, Adriana, my second grader, cooking and Anthony, my fifth grader, working in the garden.  They have learned so much from your program.  They have grown and matured and coming home after work has been enjoyable because they come home happy.  The learning was made so much fun; they didn’t even realize all they were learning.  I can’t say enough what this program has meant to us.”  -ML Altamirano
