The New Mexico Early Childhood, Education & Care Department (ECECD) is now offering the most expansive childcare assistance program in the nation, making most NM families eligible for free childcare.
The application process is simple and fast. You can submit your application online at https://www.nmececd.org/child-care-assistance/or in person at 4801 Indian School NE Albuquerque, NM 87110.
Once you submit your application and all required documents, you will receive notice of eligibility within 15 days. If approved, you will receive FREE childcare as ECECD is currently waiving all co-pays.
Childcare assistance can make a big difference in your family’s well-being and future. It can help you access RGEC’s high-quality before and after school programs that promote your child’s learning and development as you pursue your work or education goals without worrying about the cost of childcare. By applying for childcare assistance, you are investing in your child’s success and your own.
We encourage you to apply as soon as possible. Don’t miss this opportunity to get the support you need and deserve. If you have questions or need help with your application, please contact us at 505-873-6035 and ask to speak to a childcare services coordinator.
