What is Lemonade Day

Lemonade Day is a national program designed to inspire and equip young entrepreneurs with the skills they need to start, own, and operate their own businesses—a lemonade stand! Through this hands-on experience, kids learn essential lessons in financial literacy, goal-setting, customer service, and responsibility, all while having fun and engaging with their community.

This year’s event will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, in Old Town Albuquerque, where young entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to set up their lemonade stands and showcase their business skills.

How to Participate

Once registered, you’ll receive a confirmation email with details on your next steps.

The email will include information on where to pick up your materials and how to get started.

Set up your stand in Old Town on May 10th and bring your business to life!

RGEC is currently looking for Instructors and Site Supervisors for our Before and After School Sites. Applicants must have a high school diploma and a minimum of two years’ experience working with children, bi-lingual encouraged to apply. CLICK HERE to download application.
